Cindy Drobka, age 70, died on Thursday, February 17 th at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay. The former
Cindy Rieck was born on March 16, 1951.
Cindy’s love of animals was well known and over the course of forty years was mom to three dogs and 9
cats. Cindy was also an amazing artist who left behind over one hundred paintings and one thousand
pen and ink drawings.
Cindy is survived by her husband John; a sister Joan Rieck; sister-in-law Carol (Drobka) Basile; brother-in-
law Tony Basile; many nieces and nephews further survive. A special thanks to nephew Joe Christnot
and nieces, Joan Christnot, Kate Christnot, Jasmine Christnot, and Cassandra VanStratten who were
Cindy’s caregivers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Anna (Kopidlansky) Rieck; brother William (Hazel)
Rieck; sister Ann (Ralph) Christnot and father and mother-in-law, Allan (Sylvia) Drobka.
A private service will be held to celebrate Cindy’s Life. Cindy will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in
Sheboygan.
The family wishes to thank the third-floor nursing staff at St. Mary’s Hospital and Unity Hospice for all
the compassionate and loving care given to Cindy.
