Miriam S. Rodewald, of Sheboygan, 74, passed away on Sunday February 13, 2022, at home
surrounded by her loving family. Born June 11, 1947, to Gilbert and Audrey (Schroeder) Roth.
Miriam graduated from North High school in 1966. She married Roger Rodewald on June 29,
1979, at the Chapel of Trinity Church. Together they raised her three children, John (Angela)
Rodewald of Sheboygan, twins, Suzanne (Bill) Arendt of Nekoosa, and Sonja (significant other
Daniel Deljou) Rodewald of Roswell, GA. Through the years Miriam worked at Muth Co.,
Northland Plastic and Bemis. The majority of years she spent as a homemaker who enjoyed
working, gardening and rescuing stray kittens. Miriam is further survived by grandchildren,
Zachary (special friend Tiffany Palys) Rodewald, Kate Rodewald, Jenna (special friend Kyle
Knudtson) Rodewald all of Sheboygan, Sedona Arendt, Lili Arendt of Nekoosa; her brother Jeff
Roth of Sheboygan; her sisters Barbara Pollak of Hales Corners and Gerri Roth of Appleton;
along with nieces, a nephew, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her
parents.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 12:00 Noon at Trinity
Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Ave., Sheboygan, with Rev. Timothy Mech and Rev. John Berg
officiating. Inurnment will follow at Lutheran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the
family on Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the CHURCH.
If you are unable to join the family for the service, it will be livestreamed on Miriam’s obituary
page on the funeral home website.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, or Sharon J. Richardson
Hospice in Miriam’s name.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staffs at Sharon S. Richardson
Hospice, St. Luke’s Hospital and Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic for their care, compassion and
support.
