Gerald William Schad,75, of Howards Grove, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022, at
Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. He was born March 3, 1946, to the late Theodore
and Frances (Nennig) Schad in Howards Grove. He married Ramona (Gillgren) Schad on July 4,
1977. Gerald proudly served in the Army from 1965 to 1971. He worked for Kohler and the
Chilton Turkey Farm. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, fishing and
spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Dominics Catholic Church where he was
an usher. He also volunteered his time to Howards Groves Meals on Wheels. He is survived by
his wife, sons, Nicholas, Howards Grove, Matthew, Howards Grove and James (Fiancée Jacklyn
Pittner), Sheboygan; grandson, Ethan Schad. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Zimmer Westview
Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W 2132 Garton Rd, Sheboygan. Entombment to follow at
Greenlawn Memorial Park with military honors. Relatives and friends may visit with the family
on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 11:00 am until the time of service.
A memorial fund will be established in Geralds name.
