The owners of a dog that inflicted a serious bite to a person are being sought by the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred at Kohler-Andrae Park on January 30th when a person walking their dog on a leash was confronted by an unleashed dog, described as an older dog with longer tan hair similar to a “golden-doodle”. The victim was attempting to defuse the situation when the unleashed dog caused what’s described as a “significant injury” to their finger.
A group of four individuals claimed the unleashed dog, but didn’t remain and the two males and two females in their mid-60s left in a sedan-style vehicle.
Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to contact Deputy Jeanty at the Sheriff’s Office at 920-459-3111 or submit an anonymous tip through Sheboygan Countywide Crimestoppers at www.cufthem.com
