TOWN OF SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) – Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a home north of Sheboygan Tuesday night after a man with a firearm began making threats.
It happened shortly before 7pm on Lakeshore Road north of Pigeon River Park. The victim had made her way outside the home, but two children were inside with the suspect.
The Sheriff’s Department, SWAT Team, and the County BEARCAT responded to negotiate with the man, who eventually surrendered.
He was initially charged with 2nd degree sexual assault, battery, disorderly conduct while armed with a domestic violence enhancer.
While investigators were conducting a safety sweep of the home after the arrest, they found drug related items. After a search warrant was issued, they uncovered a marijuana grow operation. Drug related charges, including keeper of a drug house, were also added.
