
Elijah Manuel Justus, 24, of Sheboygan passed away as the result of a car accident on Friday,
January 28, 2022. He was born March 8, 1997, to Javier and Tanya (Justus) Hernandez. Elijah
graduated from Central High School with the Class of 2015.
Elijah worked at Sargento for the past 5 years. He loved to listen to music, enjoyed fishing and
ice fishing, playing darts, pool and had a passion for guns and spending time at the shooting
range. He could toke it up with the best of them. He was a loving father, amazing son and
brother who would do anything for his family. He had a zest for life which was proven in his
never give up attitude to everything. If he put his mind to it, he wouldn’t quit until he
accomplished it. He had an infectious laugh and a heart of gold. He truly knew how to live life to
the fullest and was able to bring out the best in people. He will be missed by all who knew and
loved him.
Elijah is survived by his parents Tanya (Andy Leist) Hernandez, Cesar Hernandez Sr. and Javier
Hernandez, son Jeremiah Kingston Justus, fiancée Jasmine Herzog his soulmate, brothers, Cesar
R. Hernandez Jr. and Xavier J. Hernandez, sister Liliana M. Hernandez, TiTi Shantell Randall, best
friend Angel, and the remaining of the three amigos Dakota and Avery. He is further survived
by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends and his two faithful companions Capone
and Mac. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Connie Justus, and Uncle
Robbie Justus.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022, at 4:00 PM at Zimmer Westview
Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd. Sheboygan, with Pastor John Niles
officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, February 4, 2022, from
1:00 PM until the time of service. If you are unable to join us for the service, it will be
livestreamed on Elijah’s obituary page on the funeral home’s website.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Elijah’s name.
