Marilyn Katchkey,79, of Saukville, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Waukegan Vista East
Medical Center in Waukegan, IL. She was born July 7, 1942, in Sheboygan to the late Morris and Evelyn
(Brooks) Katchkey. Marilyn attended North High School, and graduated from Fairfax High School in Los
Angeles, CA. She then went on to continue her studies at M.A.T.C.
Marilyn was a member of Beth El Temple in Sheboygan. When Marilyn was younger, she would take
quilting lessons at both Boston Store and Gimbles, she became very talented in the craft and enjoyed
knitting and crocheting as well. She was an excellent cook and baker, and an avid reader. Marilyn loved
going to Brewers and Packers games. She had a love for life, great sense of humor and loved to make
those around her laugh.
Marilyn is survived by her brother Marvin Katchkey, cousins; Jack Katchkey, Marty (Janet) josephon,
Seymore (Connie) Katchkey, Pamela Chow, and Cindy (Michael) Ned. She is further survived by other
relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Funeral Service was held on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care
Center, and she was laid to rest at the Sheboygan Hebrew Cemetery in Kohler.
