(WHBL) – The Wisconsin Badgers won their 7th straight game, beating Northwestern 82-76 on Tuesday night in Evanston, Illinois.
The Wildcats pulled to within four with 48 seconds remaining but Tyler Wahl hit a couple of foul shots to help Wisconsin hold on.
Johnny Davis led the way with 27 points and eight rebounds. Wahl finished with a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds. Chucky Hepburn also had 14 while Brad Davison had 13 and Steven Crowl added 10.
The Badgers improve to 15-2, 6-1 in conference play and in a first place tie in the Big Ten. It’s their best start since the 2014-15 season.
They host Michigan State on Friday night.
