Jerome W. “Jerry” Hoeppner, 74, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday morning, January 14, 2022 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Born December 22, 1947 in Sheboygan, Jerry was a son of the late Arnold and Mae Chickowski Hoeppner. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from North High School in 1966. He continued his education at the Universisty of Wisconsin Whitewater. He went on to serve his country in the National Guard. On September 26, 1981, he was united in marriage to Melissa Milauskas at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church.
Jerry was an accountant in the Sheboygan area for many years before his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul Ev Lutheran Church. Jerry volunteered for many years, raising money for the the Sheboygan Area United Way. He was also a member of the Sheboygan Yacht Club and the Sheboygan Elk’s Lodge #299.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa; his brother, Arnold Jr. (Karen) Hoeppner; his sister, Shirley (Harold) Fenn; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Hoeppner and Carolyn Hoeppner; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald, Dennis (Pat) and Kenneth; his sisters, Doris (Everett) Schober, Virginia (Marvin) Goetsch and Joyce (Ron) Strysick.
A memorial services for Jerry will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 13th & Lincoln Avenue. Pastor Alan Kretschmar will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.

The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Jerry’s arrangements.
