CHARLOTTE, NC (WHBL) – For the second game in a row the Milwaukee Bucks could not handle the young and talented Charlotte Hornets, dropping a 103-99 game on Tuesday night.
LaMelo Ball hit a twisting floater that broke a 99-99 tie with 36 seconds left. The Bucks then turned the ball over on the next possession. They had 20 turnovers in the game.
Giannis had a double-double with 26 points and 13 rebounds, adding eight assists as well. Khris Middleton had 27 points and 11 assists. Jordan Nwora had 18 and Wesley Matthews 13 but the Bucks only got 10 total points from their bench players.
Pat Connaugton and Donte DiVincenzo returned from illness and injury but were a combined 0-14 from the floor.
The Bucks, now 26-17, will welcome the Golden State Warriors to Fiserv Forum on Thursday night.
