Edward J. Feider, age 91, passed away on January 4, 2022. He was born in Little Kohler on
October 22, 1930, to the late Edward and Lucielle (Penkwitz) Feider. On February 18, 1950, Ed
was united in marriage to Audrey Wilde. He was married to the love of his life just shy of 72
wonderful years. Ed was employed with Kohler Company for 35 years and was a member of
the Quarter Century Club. Ed was also a member of Fountain Park United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed camping, playing yard games such as, badminton, horseshoes and a very
competitive game of crochet with his brother “Red”. You could also find Ed Polka dancing with
his love, taking over the dance floor with his own style of polka. He loved grilling out for his
family and friends. We will always remember his smirky smile that came with a great sense of
humor.
Ed is survived by his wife Audrey; children, Stephen (Deborah) Feider, Debora (Dale) Rusch,
Brian (Deborah) Feider, Laurie Fischer; grandchildren, James, Alison, Kristen, Joshua, Marie,
Christopher, Nicholas, Rachel, Banks and Keeli; step-grandchildren, Kyle and Ashley; 19 great-
grandchildren; 9 step great-grandchildren; a brother LeRoy Feider; nieces, nephews, other
family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Stephanie Spicer; great-granddaughter Kaitlyn
Origel; sister Loretta Federspiel and brother Clarence “Red” Feider.
A Celebration of Life for Ed will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Ballhorn
Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N 8 th St. in Sheboygan with Pastor Warren
Waddell officiating. Family will greet visitors on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until
the time of the service. He will be laid to rest at the Garden of Peace Mausoleum.
