Jeffrey S. “Jeff” Hansen, age 64, of Plymouth, WI, passed away unexpectedly (January 4, 2022) at his
home.
He was born on November 30, 1957 in Port Washington, WI, a son of the late Thomas and
Marilyn (Morauski) Hansen.
Jeff attended grade schools in Port Washington and Cedarburg, graduating from Cedarburg
High School in 1976. He also attended Milwaukee Area Technical College.
On August 16, 1980 he married Kathryn Knapmiller in Cedarburg. The couple has resided in
the Plymouth area since their marriage.
Jeff worked at Johnsonville Sausage for 40 years retiring in April of 2021.
He enjoyed EVERYTHING in life, biking, kayaking, hiking, fishing, gardening, and home improvements
whenever he got the chance. Jeff loved playing horse shoes (and was very good at it) and always spent
time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren. He was always the first one to help others in their
time of need in any situation and was an inventor and patent holder of the Yak-Attach.
Survivors include: his loving wife of 41 years, Kathyrn of Plymouth, Two sons: Tyler of Madison
and Cole (Samantha) of New Holstein and his three grandchildren: Adaya, Elayna and Arya. Two
sisters: Gayle Strand of Jackson, WI, and Faith Stayer of Augusta, GA. Five Brothers: Guy (Jen) Hansen
of Cedarburg, Mark (Julie) Hansen of Cedarburg, Todd (Diane) Hansen of Port Washington,
Terry Hansen of Cedarburg and Ray Stayer Jr. (Mary Ann) of Reno, NV. Four sisters-in-law: Mary (Steve)
Buelow of Fond du Lac, Carol (Ed) Paegelow of Dotyville, Patty (Randy) Klug of Plymouth and Robin
Knapmiller of Birchwood, WI. One brother-in-law: Greg Knapmiller of Rice Lake, WI, Two Goddaughters:
Angela Knapmiller and Karen Buelow, and his special canine companion: Annie.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by Son: Samuel, his parents, Stepfather: Ray Stayer Sr., Mother and father-in-
law: Henry “Bud” and Ruth Knapmiller, brothers-in-law: Steve Strande, David Knapmiller, Bill Buelow
and Sister-in-law: Susan Stayer.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday afternoon (January 8, 2022) at 1:00 P.M. at the
Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held on Saturday Morning (Jan 8) from 11:00 A.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in
Plymouth until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jeff’s name.
