Wisconsin U.S. Senators Blast Outside Groups Trying To Use Waukesha Tragedy

(WHBL) – Wisconsin’s U.S. Senators are telling ‘outside groups’ to stop trying to use Waukesha’s parade tragedy for their own purposes.

Republican Ron Johnson and Democrat Tammy Baldwin issued a joint statement on Saturday decrying the politicization of the deaths at Waukesha’s Christmas Parade.

The two said anyone trying to ‘exploit’ the tragedy needs to back-off and allow Waukesha to heal.  The statement says local leaders have ‘many difficult duties’ to deal with, and Johnson and Baldwin say those tasks won’t be made any easier by outside groups seeking to put a political spin on the tragedy.
