GREEN BAY, WI (WHBL) – Aaron Rodgers threw for two touchdowns as he led the Green Bay Packers to a 36-28 win over the Los Angeles Rams at Lambeau Field on Sunday.
Rodgers showed no ill effects of his injured toe, throwing for 307 yards and connecting on TD passes to Randall Cobb and AJ Dillon.
Green Bay’s defense forced three turnovers, one of which was a pick-six by Rasul Douglas in the third quarter.
Matthew Stafford miscues outweighed his 302-yard, 3-TD performance for Los Angeles. The quarterback had his third straight game throwing a pick-six and also lost a fumble. That, along with a Rams pass rush that struggled to make an impact, resulted in a third consecutive loss for the team. Los Angeles now sits 7-4.
The Packers improve to 9-3 on the season as they head into their bye week.
