A popular Plymouth Police Officer and an Alderman will be honored when the Plymouth Common Council meets on Tuesday Night.
The first of two resolutions will be introduced by Mayor Don Pohlman to honor Alderman Jerry Matzdorf, who passed away on October 30th at age 46 from COVID-19 after serving 18 months on the Plymouth Common Council.
The Mayor will then introduce a second resolution honoring K-9 Officer Zoey for her service to the community and her retirement.
Officer Zoey officially retired on November 15th. According to her facebook page, Officer Zoey was deployed 385 times, made 145 arrests – over 100 of those on felony drug charges – and zeized 5 illegal guns and over $50,000.
