MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WHBL) – Greg Joseph kicked a 29-yard field goal as time expired as the Minnesota Vikings defeated the Green Bay Packers 34-31 at US Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Minnesota had a 23-10 lead late in the third quarter before Aaron Rodgers led the Packers back with a pair of touchdown passes to Davante Adams to go up 24-23. Kirk Cousins and Rodgers traded touchdown passes to tie the game at 31 before the Vikings drove down the field for the game-winning field goal.
Cousins had 341 passing yards and three touchdowns, while Justin Jefferson went off for eight catches, 169 yards, and two scores.
Rodgers finished with 385 passing yards and four touchdowns, and Adams had seven catches for 115 yards and two TDs.
The Vikings are in second place in the NFC North at 5-5.
The Packers drop to 8-3, having lost two of three. Green Bay will host the Los Angeles Rams next Sunday.
