NEW YORK, NY (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Bucks almost let a big lead get away but held on for a 112-100 win over the New York Knicks Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden.
New York came back from a 24 point deficit late in the 3rd quarter to tie the game but Milwaukee got three pointers from George Hill, Jrue Holiday and Pat Connaughton to stem the tide.
Connaughton led the Bucks in scoring with 23 points off the bench. He added nine rebounds.
Jrue Holiday had 18 and Bobby Portis added 17. Giannis had a double -double with 15 points and 15 rebounds while adding eight assists. Grayson Allen was also in double figures with 15.
The Bucks evened their record at 6-6 and the road trip continues on Friday night in Boston.
