If you have thoughts on improving Highway 23 between Sheboygan and Plymouth, the DOT wants to hear from you.
A virtual public meeting is scheduled for 5:30 Thursday afternoon to discuss proposed improvements between Taylor Drive in Sheboygan and County Highway “P” west of Plymouth. The project is divided into two phases that could begin as soon as 2026 and will involve, among other things, resurfacing the roadway, reconstructing two intersections and replacing beam guards.
Tomorrow’s meeting will have presentations from project engineers and staff. Besides the improvements they’ll also address possible real estate needs and traffic impacts and hold a question and answer session afterwards.
