WALGREENS RECORDS CORRECTIONS HAVE FROZEN VACCINATION DATA
Vaccination data from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services remains in limbo since Friday. The Wisconsin DHS said that they discovered data errors for Friday, November 5th during regular auditing, and said that this was related to corrections Walgreens is currently making to some COVID-19 vaccination records across the country, including in Wisconsin. This may cause people vaccinated at Walgreens to be temporarily unable to access their COVID-19 vaccination record in the Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR). These affected records are expected to be available again within one or two days.
In the meantime, individuals who received vaccinations at Walgreens and need to access their records can do so by contacting their local Walgreens pharmacy. Patients with a registered Walgreens pharmacy account can also access their vaccination record via the Walgreens website or mobile app.
