(WHBL) – No one is leaving the school board in Mequon. Voters in the city’s school district on Tuesday voted to keep four school board members who were facing a recall effort. Each of the four got at least 58 percent of the vote.
Parents in Mequon-Thiensville schools launched the recall after they say the school board ignored them during the coronavirus outbreak, and allowed the school’s standards to fall.
Recall organizer Amber Schroeder said she’s proud of the fight that parents put up, and said she’s going to continue to fight for the kids.
