Michael J. Picard, age 67, Plymouth, WI, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 28,
2021.
He was born on June 11, 1954 in Plymouth, WI, a son of Donna (Wetzel) Picard and the late Gerald
“Jerry” Picard.
Mike graduated from Plymouth High School in 1972. On September 23, 1989, he married Rita (Prahl)
Richards.
He worked at Sargento Foods for 42 years, retiring in 2017. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting,
fishing, playing softball, family gatherings, and watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He
was in a horse shoe league and a member of Ducks Unlimited.
Survivors include his wife, Rita of Plymouth; four sons, Tyler (Jessica) Picard, Tim (Kim) Picard, Lee
(Becky) Picard all of Plymouth, Lucas (Ashley) Picard of Rosemount, MN; step-daughter, Sheila
Wozniak (special friend Brian) of MI; seven grandchildren, Benjamin, Jackson, Danica, Oliver, Leona,
Gabriel, Gianna; mother, Donna of Plymouth; two sisters, Vicki (Tim) Hollister of Marion, OH, Julie Zak
of Egg Harbor; brother, Jeremy (Stacy) Picard of Plymouth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob Maass of
Wrightstown, Walter (Donna) Prahl of New Mexico, Dianna (Dwayne) Gudex of Cascade, Martha
(Larry) Rentmeester of Plymouth, Eddie (Margaret) Prahl of New Holstein, Frank (Barbara) Prahl of
Plymouth, Joan (Jerry) Shaske of Mesa, AZ, John (Verna) Prahl of Manitowoc, and Victor (Karen) Prahl
of Sheboygan Falls.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry; sister, Gerilou Maass; and brothers-in-law, Pat Zak and
Dennis Prahl.
Visitation will take place on Thursday (November 4, 2021) at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth
from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, with a service to follow at 5:00 PM. Pastor Dale Miller, Pastor of Salem
Plankroad UCC, will officiate. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.
