Dorine L. Koeppen, 97, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Pine Haven
Christian Home in Sheboygan Falls. She was born April 29, 1924, in Colby to Ernest and Viola (Podeveles)
Kading. Dorine attended school in Colby and then moved to Sheboygan and graduated from Central High
School.
She was united in marriage to LaVern Koeppen and together they raised five children: Larry (Gloria)
Koeppen, Judy (William) Westera, Robert (Beverly) Koeppen, Jerry Koeppen, and Debbie (Tim Hunt)
Koeppen. Dorine loved being a mother, her children were her pride and joy. LaVern preceded her in
death in January of 1989.
Dorine enjoyed gardening and bird watching. She was extremely talented and made several beautiful
glass beaded ornaments for her family, that they will cherish for years to come. Dorine also liked to do
jigsaw puzzles, travel and do many other crafts.
Dorine is further survived by ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great
grandchildren, her sister Phyllis Clark and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was
preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons; Larry and Jerry, infant sister Joyce and bother-in-law
Floyd Clark.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral &
Cremation Care Center,1201 N. 8 th St. Sheboygan, with Rev. Bryan Osladil officiating. Burial will follow at
Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Kohler. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday,
November 5, 2021, from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sheboygan Humane Society in Dorine’s name.

Richardson Community Hospice for all the care, compassion and support they gave their mom.
