Deborah Fay Eiring, 64, of Plymouth, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021.
Deb was born on July 1, 1957, to Gilbert and Doris (TenDolle) Oonk. She graduated from Oostburg High School in 1975. She was united in marriage to John Eiring on October 11, 1986. Deb was employed at Kohler Personnel, where she established many great friendships. After moving to South Dakota in 1995 to pursue her and John’s dream of ranching, she was employed at the Hot Springs VA Medical Center until retirement. During her time in South Dakota, Deb established many great friendships as well. After retirement in 2018, Deb and John moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to family and friends.
Deb attended Plymouth Alliance Church. She enjoyed being outdoors, hiking, and gardening and loved the fall season. Deb had a passion of caring for others and a love of gift giving and laughter. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, horseback riding, and planning family events. Deb loved horses and dogs, especially her dog and walking partner, Pal. Deb loved more than anything, spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Deb is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Melissa (Jason) Kimme of Howards Grove; son, Jason (Amanda) Eiring of rural Hingham; grandchildren, Erika Pfeifer, Brooklyn Kimme, Hayden and Isaac Lehman, Evelyn and Mabel Eiring; mother, Doris Oonk of Sheboygan Falls; sister, Cindy (Trent) Schwanda of West Bend; brother, Bob (Betty) Oonk of Sheboygan. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Deb is preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Oonk and sister, Shar (Bob) German.
A memorial service for Deb will be held at Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 6:00pm. If unable to attend, all are welcome to join via livestream by visiting wenig.live/DebEiring.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 3:00pm until the time of service.
