Unused prescription medication is a problem when it finds its way into the environment – or the wrong hands. To address that problem, Healthy Sheboygan County, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Justice and the Drug Enforcement Administration will hold a Prescription Drug Take Back Day this Saturday between 10 AM and 1 PM at four Sheboygan County Locations.
People can bring those medications…preferably in their original containers…to Generations in Plymouth, the Random Lake Fire Department, Sheboygan’s St. Nicholas Hospital or the Sheboygan Falls Fire Department for proper disposal. Collection will be done drive-thru and persons are requested to be masked and remain in their cars. Illegal drugs and needles & sharps should not be brought, and it’s for households only – no businesses.
Here are the details:
The four take-back locations in Sheboygan County will be open to accept unused medications from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM:
•Plymouth – Generations, 1500 Douglas Dr., Plymouth, 53073
