ATLANTA, GA (WHBL) – The season is over for the Milwaukee Brewers, and the Atlanta Braves are on their way to the NLCS.
Atlanta clinched a spot in the championship series after topping the Brewers with a 5-4 win at home in game four on Tuesday. The Braves win the series 3 games to 1.
Rowdy Tellez homered for Milwaukee to give the Crew a two-run lead midway through the game.
But the Braves’ Freddie Freeman hit the go-ahead home run off Brewers’ reliever Josh Hader in the bottom of the eighth inning. That gave Atlanta a 5-4 lead, which would be the final score of the game.
The Braves will face either the San Francisco Giants or the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS.
