MONTH-LONG CLOSURE COMING TO PORTION OF SOUTH TAYLOR DRIVE

Motorists accustomed to traveling from Indiana Avenue to Union Avenue on South Taylor Drive will be detouring beginning Monday, October 11th.
City Engineer Ryan Sazama says that the re-routing of southbound traffic will be needed for utility work being done in that area. That stretch of South Taylor Drive will be open to University Drive, and northbound traffic won’t be affected.
The detour route will be Indiana Avenue to South 14th Street/South Business Drive, and then to Union Avenue, and that’s expected to last until Friday, November 5th, depending upon the weather.
