
Mary L. Hanna, age 88, of Plymouth, WI, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on
Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
She was born on June 1, 1933, in Libertyville, IL a daughter of the late Antonio and Petra (Robalcaba)
Ledesma.
Mary worked at Cherry Electric in Waukegan, IL for over 20 years before retiring in 1998.
She enjoyed puzzles, cooking, reading, and word searches, but her favorite pastime was spending time
with her family.
Survivors include her children, Philip Hanna of Kenosha, Laura Hanna of Kenosha, and Tina (David)
Schlichting of Plymouth; grandchildren, Jessica Hanna, Angela Hanna, Michael (Angela) Hanna, Joshua
Hanna, Jason (Stephanie) Schaffer, Tristan Schneider, Trinity Schneider, Sarah (Jake) Boyer, Rebecca
(Jacob) Schultz, and Emily Schlichting; sister, Ann Bedford of Kenosha; brothers, Arthur Ledesma of Blue
Jay, CA, and Richard (Dory) Ledesma of Westfield, NJ; and sister-in-law, Kathy Ledesma of Grayslake, IL.
She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven Hanna; and brother, Raul Ledesma.
Visitation will take place on Friday (October 1, 2021) at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth
from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM, with a memorial mass to follow at 5:00 PM. Father Philip Reifenberg, Pastor of
the Church, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Mary’s name for the Sharon S. Richardson
Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.
