Thomas M. Zahn, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2021.
He was born on November 23, 1948, to the late Melvin and Shirley (Mavis) Zahn.
Tom graduated from South High School and went on to earn his associates degree
in Mechanical Drafting from Lakeshore Technical College. He proudly served his
country in the United States Army. Tom was employed for over 39 years in the
pottery department at Kohler Company, being a part of the Quarter Century Club.
Tom enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing and camping. Traveling with the love of his
life, Marlene, was something Tom enjoyed very much with Mexico being his
favorite trip. He always enjoyed a good prank and was full of wit. He will be
deeply missed by all who knew him.
Tom is survived by the catch of his life Marlene Moritz; a son Matthew (Michele)
Zahn; Marlene’s children; Fred, Jason, and Dawn; grandchildren, Christian
Reinwand and Kaylee Zahn (Tim Holte); a great-grandchild Carter Holte; Marlene’s
grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Zahn and Cathy Votis; nieces, nephews, other
family and friends further survive.
Along with his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Richard
Votis.
A Memorial Service for Tom will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021, at 6:00 PM
at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N 8th St. in
Sheboygan. Family will greet visitors on Monday, at the funeral home, from 4:00
PM until the time of the service. For those who wish to watch the service

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Tom's name.
The family would like to thank the Port Washington and Belgium paramedics who
assisted with Tom’s care. A special thank you to Connor for being a huge support
to both Marlene and Tom.
