Robert L. “Porky” Pennell, age 63, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully Tuesday (August 10, 2021) at St.
Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee with his loving family by his side.
He was born on September 29, 1957 in Sheboygan County, WI, a son of the late Willis and Bernice
(Weber) Pennell. Bob attended Plymouth grade schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in
1975.
He worked in the Engine Division at the Kohler Company for over 42 years retiring in 2019.
Bob aka “Porky” always had a big heart and was a jokester. He treasured spending time with his
“buddies “shooting pool, shaking dice, target shooting, golfing, miniature bowling, motorcycling
and hunting. He enjoyed rigging up things at his house, tinkering in the garage and YouTubing.
Bob loved every Moment he spent with his granddaughter, Aaliyah and his grandson Ean who
was his little buddy.
Survivors include his loving daughter: Nicole Pennell of Plymouth; Grandson: Ean Pennell; Seven
brothers and sisters: Linda Pennell of Sheboygan Falls, Ronald Pennell of Plymouth, Laura Pennell of
Kiel, Roland Pennell of Plymouth, Carole Pennell of Plymouth, Gerald (Jennifer) Pennell of Sheboygan
Falls and Steve Pennell of Plymouth; and his very special friend: Sherrell Dean of Plymouth. He is also
survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He is united in death with his parents; one granddaughter: Aaliyah Nicole Godfrey Pennell and one
brother: James Pennell.
Following Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on
Saturday afternoon (August 21, 2021) at 1:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.
Rev. Casey Sugden will officiate and inurnment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be at the Suchon Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. on Saturday morning until
the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Bob’s name for the American Heart
Association or the American Diabetes Foundation.
