CHICAGO, IL (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers swept a doubleheader with the Cubs in Chicago on Tuesday. Milwaukee doubled up the Cubs twice with a 4-2 win in Game One and a 6-3 win in Game Two.
Willy Adames hit his 21st home run of the season in the first game while Freddy Peralta picked up the win after giving up just two runs over five and a third innings.
Justin Steele took the loss for the Cubs, allowing three runs over five innings.
In the second game, Eduardo Escobar and Luis Urias each had a pair of hits and an RBI in a 6-3 win for Milwaukee.
Miguel Sanchez got the win in relief.
Patrick Wisdom homered in defeat for Chicago. Dan Winkler took the loss.
The two teams square off again Wednesday night with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 6;30.
