John Campbell

John “Jack” Gerald Campbell passed away Saturday (July 31, 2021) at the age of 82.
He was born February 22, 1939 to the late Gerald and Verena (Knowles) Campbell.
Jack was married to Barbara Ann Uselding. They had five children Patrick, Peter, Edward,
Pamela and Thomas.
He was a truck driver for Blatz and Schlitz beer until moving to Mercer, WI. with his kids to help
his parents run the Hiawatha Resort. Later he would manage Idles Shores Resort and tend bar
at Midway Bar and house sit for friends until he retired. Jack enjoyed old cars, racing, bar
tending and spending time with family and friends telling stories.
Jack is survived by four children, Patrick (Judy) of Sheboygan, WI., Peter (Vicki) of Minot, ND.,
Edward (Jennifer) of Barberton, OH., Pamela (Ken) of Box Elder, SD., six grandchildren, four
great-grandchildren and his brother, Robert of Butternut, WI.
He is preceded in death by his ex-wife Barbara, son, Thomas, brother, James and parents,
Gerald and Verena.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday (August 14, 2021) at 12:00 PM at the Suchon
Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Philip Reifenberg, Pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic
Church, will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Greenbush Cemetery.
Visitation will take place at the Suchon Funeral Home on Saturday (Aug. 14 th ) from 10:00 AM
until the time of services. Following the services, a get together will be held at the PJ Campbell
Depot Restaurant in Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.
