The number of active COVID-19 cases in Sheboygan County rose again on Wednesday, with 64 now being monitored by the Division of Public Health. 14 new positive tests were received while 7 persons recovered. 13,981 have now experienced a bout with the coronavirus, and with two new deaths reported on Wednesday, 154 have lost that battle. There are no current hospitalizations to report in Sheboygan County.
Sheboygan County is now experiencing a “High” activity level, with a burden of 76.8 cases per 100,000 persons, and a trajectory that is upwards at 90% over the past two weeks. The 7-day average of daily new cases as reported by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services is at 8.
At least one dose of vaccine has now been administered to 50.1% of the county’s population, amounting to 57,747 persons, 99 more than on Tuesday. 48%, or 55,383, are now fully vaccinated, an increase of 44 since Tuesday.
