Mildred “Milly” Ann Mullen, 77, resident of Pine Haven, passed away peacefully
on Saturday evening, July 24, 2021.
Mildred was born on October 19, 1943, in Manitowoc County, to Hubert and
Helen (Stuebs) Kolb. She graduated from Kiel High School in 1961. After
graduation, Mildred left the farm and moved to Sheboygan. She began her working
career at Ross Glove Company for several years. She also worked at Jung Shoe
Company before starting to work at Rockline Industries where she later retired
from after 17 years.
On June 26, 1973, Mildred married Robert Mullen at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic
Church in Sheboygan. Mildred and Robert lived together in Glenbeulah until
Robert’s passing in 1980.
Mildred enjoyed reading, playing cards, and watching sports on TV (especially the
Brewers and Packers). She greatly enjoyed her weekly gatherings with her circle of
friends.
Mildred is survived by her sister, Mabel (Carl) Horneck; sister-in-law, Elaine
Kolb; nephews, Dan (Barb) Pfister, Steve (Pam) Horneck, and Brian Kolb; nieces,
Sandy Pfister, Brenda Kolb, Barbara (Andy) Gluch, and Mary Horneck; and many
other relatives and friends.
Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Hubert and Helen;
brother, Sheldon Kolb; sister, Melba (Robert) Pfister; and niece, Susan Pfister.
A memorial service will be held for Mildred at 3:00 PM on August 7, 2021, at
Ballhorn Chapels with Father Norberto Sandoval officiating. A visitation will be
held from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mildred’s name may be directed towards Pine
Haven Christian Communities on Giddings Avenue.
Mildred’s family would like to thank the staff at Pine Haven for the wonderful care
they gave her over the past five years. They would also like to acknowledge the
wonderful end of life care given to Mildred by Sharon S. Richardson Community
Hospice.
