Mildred Jeske, 95, of Cascade passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Countryside Manor in
Sheboygan where she had resided since March.
Mildred was born on November 3, 1925 in Sheboygan Falls a daughter of the late Arnold and Clara
(Winter) Kubitz. She attended German Corners School and Plymouth High School. She was confirmed at
St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. On September 15, 1945 she was united in marriage to Florian
Jeske at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Cascade and together they resided on the family homestead. Florian
preceded her in death on November 14, 2007. Mildred had worked at the Parnell Grade School and
Plymouth High School in the kitchen. She was an avid quilter and a member of the Sheboygan County
Quilters Guild.
Mildred was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Cascade and had been active with the
Ladies Guild at the church.
Mildred is survived by her three daughters and a son, Kathy D’Imperio of Sheboygan, Cheryl (Barry)
Lieffring of Kiel, Sheila (John) Levezow of Sheboygan and Mark (Kathy) Jeske of Parnel; her
grandchildren, Denise (Jerry Voight) Groth, Sara Fredrichs, Megan D’Imperio (Doug Hutchins), Jessica
(Kyle) Walford, Alexia (Don) Cordle, Emily (Ben) Nickel, Melinda (Michael Farrell) Lieffring, Lucas (Sheri)
Lieffring, Jared Lieffring (Patie Freimuth), Amanda (Jamie) Heath, Marissa (Rich) Yentz and Scott Jeske;
her great grandchildren, Savannah Jane Walford, Chloe Walford, Calla Nickel, Zachery Nickel, Alex Groth
(Julie Soto), Jacob Seehaver Riley Lieffring, Rowan Lieffring, Janae Mancheski and Hudson Yentz; her
great great grandchildren, Chandler Groth, Alessandra Groth, Grayson Seehaver, Mia Soto and Tito Soto;
her brother, Ray (Wanda) Kubitz of Florida; her sister-in-law, Jean Dippel of Plymouth. Nieces, nephews
other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, an
infant child, grandson, Jason Oldenburg, great grandson, Samuel Groth, son-in-law, James D’Imperio,
brothers, sisters and their spouses, Walter (Inga) Kubitz, Arlene Kubitz, Delmar (Margaret) Kubitz, Arnold
(Wilma) Kubitz, Anita (Jerry) Meyer and brother-in-law, Ralph Dippel.
A funeral service for Mildred will be held 12 Noon, Wednesday, July 28 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in
Cascade with Rev. Richard Bidinger, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather at the church, 509 Milwaukee Ave, Cascade on Wednesday from 10:30
AM until the time of service.
Memorials in Mildred’s name may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Mildred’s family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Countryside Manor
and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Their care and compassion will be remembered.
