
Judith R. “Judi” Schilsky, age 77, of Plymouth, WI, passed away late Tuesday evening (May 25,
2021) at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility in Plymouth where she had resided for the past 3
years.
Judi was born March 28, 1944 in Chicago, IL. to the late Joseph G. and Hazel (Gester) Estelle.
Judi attended McCellan Grade School and Kelly High School in Chicago, IL.
On November 14, 1968 she and Richard “Butch” C. Schilsky were married in Chicago, IL. They
lived in Chicago until after the birth of their first son.
In 1970 they moved to Milwaukee and in 1974 they made their home in Plymouth.
Butch preceded her in death on February 21, 2011.
Judi was employed at the 5 th Wheel Restaurant. She was also employed at Johnson Bus Co. for
13 years until her diabetes forced her retirement. She was past president of the Plymouth VFW
World Cheese Post # 5612 Auxiliary.
Judi enjoyed and loved the time she spent with her family and friends, especially her
grandchildren who were the love of her life. She was the No. 1 fan of Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Judi is survived by three sons and 2 daughters-in-law who she loved dearly: Richard A. Schilsky
of Plymouth, Jeffrie (Kelly) Schilsky of Plymouth and Robert (Michele) Schilsky of Plymouth.
The loves of her life, her grandchildren: Aron Schilsky and Alex Schilsky (Special friend:
Hannah Farnsworth) all of Plymouth, Gavin Freeze of Plymouth and Brianna Johnson of
Sheboygan. Three great grandchildren, her special sister: Joyce Wilkening of Norman, OK, and
her longtime friend: Alyce Bohn of Plymouth. She is also survived by many other nieces,
nephews, family and friends.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents, her father and mother-in-law, Frank Sr. and Louise
Schilsky, 2 Brothers-in-Law, Frank Jr. and William Schilsky and her beloved canine companions
and best friends: Brown Dog and Laci.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday evening (June 4, 2021) at 5:30 P.M. at the Suchon
Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Nathan Meador, pastor of St. John Lutheran
Church in Plymouth will officiate. Cremation will follow the services and inurnment will be in
the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home from 3:00 P.M. on Friday until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial fund is being established in Judi’s name.
