| Phyllis J. Hochenauer (nee Grimins), 70, of Sheboygan, passed away Thursday morning, May 20, 2021 at Meadow View Health Services where she has been residing.
Born December 14, 1950 in Milwaukee, Phyllis was a daughter of the late Robert and June Knuth Grimins. She attended Milwaukee and Sheboygan area schools and later continued her education at Lakeshore Technical College. Phyllis was united in marriage to Ted F. Hochenauer, Jr. on September 4, 1999 and remained married for twenty years before Ted proceeded her in death on September 5, 2019. Phyllis was a longtime, active member of Immanuel Bible Church in Sheboygan. In addition to being a homemaker, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren, visit with family, listen to music, watch movies, sing, read, and was a board game playing aficionado. She is survived by her brother Steve and her sister Denise Grimins; Phyllis’ two children, Sharon (Jeffery) Ullsperger and Ben (De Anne) Dean, and her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Adam, Alex, Cora, Damon, Mehgan, Molly, and Cassie. Besides her parents and husband, Ted, Phyllis was preceded in death by her brother, Lloyd. According to her wishes, there will be no service or visitation. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Meadow View Health Services and the nurses and staff of the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Phyllis’ arrangements.
