Mark Allan Lamb, age 70, passed away surrounded by his loving family late Sunday evening, May 16,
2021, at Azura Memory Care in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Mark was born May 6, 1951, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to the late Kenneth and Janet (Champeau) Lamb.
After graduating from South High School, Mark joined the Marine Corps, proudly serving his country
from April 1971 to March 1976. On September 7, 1974, Mark married Karen Brown in Dillion, South
Carolina.
For nearly 45 years, Mark was an over the road truck driver for various companies, including Wisconsin
Nationwide Transportation, Beatrice Foods, and Johnsonville Sausage. Mark received a prestigious
award for safely driving over 2 million miles without an accident. Over the course of his driving career,
Mark was able to travel through Mexico, the 48 continental United States, and all the lower provinces of
Canada.
Mark was an avid motorcyclist, fisherman, jet skier, hunter, golfer, and played softball on his brothers’
teams. Mark, with several friends and support boats, took his jet ski across Lake Michigan from
Sheboygan to Ludington, Michigan and back. He loved to travel in his motorhome with friends and
family to Richmond Raceway twice a year, where he was a season ticket holder to watch NASCAR. He
was a dedicated Tony Stewart fan. He was especially proud of his Ford Taurus SHO, which he lovingly
restored and his two Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Mark is survived by his children, Christie (Mitchell) Parker and Franklin (Tracy) Lamb. He is further
survived by his grandchildren, Franklin Denning, Amberlee Light, Cora Parker, Franklin Brian (fiancée
Autumn) Lamb II, Matthew Lamb, Isabella Lamb, and his great grandchild, Chloe Light. He is also
survived by his brothers and sisters, Michael (Sue) Lamb, Joell Lamb, Kenneth Thomas (Gwen) Lamb,
Kristine J. Lamb, Mary Jo (Alan) Stoelb, Patrick (Julie) Lamb, Joseph (Kristine M.) Lamb, sister-in-law
Susan Lamb, close family friend, Jack Huenink, and his beloved companion dog, Noah. He is further
survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents and oldest brother, Jerome Lamb.
A visitation will be held Friday, May 21, 2021, from 4 PM to 7 PM at Ballhorn Chapels, 1201 N. 8 th St.,
Sheboygan, Wisconsin. A private service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at St Peter Claver
Catholic Church with private graveside service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mark’s name can be made to The Dementia Care Network of Sheboygan
County or St. Nicholas Hospital Hospice.
Mark’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you and their appreciation to the St. Nicholas
Hospital Hospice Program, especially nurse Rebecca Wagner. The family wishes to thank Jodi
Engelhardt, Jami Nowak, and Ryan Messner for their compassionate care as Mark struggled with the
challenges of dementia.
