Nancy L. Raasch, peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Songbird Pond Assisted Living
Center in Plymouth. She was 84 and had resided in Plymouth.
Nancy was born on February 14, 1937 in Sheboygan the only child of the late Raymond and Irene
(Orlebeck) Marquardt. She graduated from Sheboygan Central High School with the Class of 1955. She
was primarily a homemaker but also was employed at various times with a variety of local businesses.
Nancy also enjoyed spending time playing cards with her friends at Colonial Columns along with
crocheting and bird watching.
Nancy is survived by her four children, Sheryl Maratik Davis of Plymouth, Mark (Jill) Maratik of Fond du
Lac, Michael Maratik of Sheboygan Falls and Jennie (James) Runge of Antigo; seven grandchildren,
Crystal, Heidi Jo, Eric, Justin, Celina, Franklin and Daniel and four great grandchildren. Other family and
friends also survive.
A family graveside service was held at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Marianne Brandt,
chaplain at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice officiating.
In preference to flowers memorials may be directed to Songbird Pond Assisted Living Center
Nancy’s family would like to extend their grateful appreciation to the caregivers at Songbird Pond and
Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the compassionate and gentle care given Nancy and her
family.
