Janet Riese

Janet M. Riese, 89, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on
Saturday, May 1, 2021, at her apartment in Sheboygan.
Janet was born on September 4, 1931, to Lester and Violet (Knuth)
Heyn in Kohler, WI. On June 30, 1956, she married Elwood Riese.
Together, the couple raised two children, Glenn and Janice.
Janet worked as an elevator operator and retired from Pranghe’s.
One of her favorite hobbies was collecting cat figurines.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Elwood;
children, Glenn (Gretchen Horlacher-Riese) Riese and Janice
(Frank) Mallo; sister, Helen Jean Spooner; and many other friends
and relatives.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Heyn; sister,
Merrie Ann Pankratz.
A funeral service will be held at Zimmer-Westview Funeral and
Cremation Care Center on Friday, May 7, 2021, at 2:00 PM, with
Rev. Christian Gugel officiating. Visitation will take place at the
funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Lutheran Cemetery in Sheboygan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good
Shepherd Lutheran Church and Sharon S. Richardson Community
Hospice.
