SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – A Plymouth man is due in court Friday for a plea hearing for video taping a young girl in a bathroom. 47 year old Donald Bellows was arrested last September after the teen found Bellows’ cell phone recording in the bathroom where she was showering.
The victim says that on a number of occasions, before she went to shower, Bellows would go into the bathroom and set up his phone to record what was happening in the bathroom.
Court documents say that when Bellows was questioned, he claimed he’d just gotten the phone so he wasn’t sure how the recording had happened. He also said he wasn’t video-taping her on purpose.
When officers searched the phone, they found a number of pornographic websites that had been saved.
Bellows is facing up to 6 years in prison and $10,000 in fines if he’s found guilty.
