MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Daniel Vogelbach homered twice and drove in three, but the Mlwaukee Brewers lost 6-5 in 10 innings to the Pittsburgh Pirates at American Family Field on Sunday afternoon.
Avisail Garcia hit a solo shot in defeat. J.P. Feyereisen, the sixth Milwaukee pitcher, took the loss.
Colin Moran drove home the go-ahead run in the 10th for the Pirates. Moran and Bryan Reynolds both homered in the game for Pittsburgh, which took two-of-three from the Brew Crew. Rich Rodriguez picked up the win in relief.
The Brewers will play their next six on the road with the first three in San Diego beginning Monday night. Brandon Woodruff starts the opener for Milwaukee.
