Larrie J. James, age 73 of Sheboygan died peacefully at home by his wife’s side
early Tuesday morning April 6, 2021. Larrie was born February 15, 1948 in
Kenosha to the late Ralph and Bernice (Morroway) James. He was united in
marriage to Noreen Stuiber on March 23, 1989 in Milwaukee. Larrie was
employed as a furniture maker at Kayson Furniture in Milwaukee, and then worked
as a security officer at St. Mary’s Columbia Hospital for 17 years. After moving to
Sheboygan, he was employed as an IT tech at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial
Hospital where he made friends and was affectionately known as “B”. Larrie was
a passionate free spirit gifted in creating music, writing songs/poetry, singing, and
drawing. He had a couple of songs published and also played at Summerfest in
Milwaukee. Larrie had a soft spot for animals and loved his dogs Billy, Tiny and
especially fond of his late canine companion, Bently Blue. Larrie had many friends
through school and work and was grateful for all the loving people in his life. He
never forgot an incredibly special person in his life, “99”. He had a beautiful and
amazing journey where he left an indelible mark on and in our hearts to cherish
forever.
Survivors include his loving wife Noreen, sister Valerie James of Campbellsport,
son Jesse (Mary) Burg of West Bend, daughters Renee James of Sullivan, Jennifer
(Stefan) James-Gieryn of Whitewater and Holly James (Chris Forker) of
Waterford. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Bobby, Emily, Jasmine,
Braden, and Keaton, great grandchildren Robbie and Owen, nephews, Mickey,
Eddie and Lonnie, and niece Meredith. He is also survived by his adopted daughter
in kind, Sara who called him “Pops”, sister-in-law JoEllen James and a brother-in-
law Bob Ostrander.
Larrie was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Regina Ostrander and Linda
James, brother Jerome “Jerry” James, and niece Irene Kitchen.
