Wisconsin’s iconic white-tailed deer hunt undergoes review and planning every year, and the public gets the chance to weigh in on recommendations from the DNR beginning Monday. Anyone interested in helping shape the 2021 county-level antlerless deer harvest goals and the 2021 white-tailed deer hunting season structure can give their feedback on the DNR’s County Deer Advisory Council webpage. After the public comment period ends on April 25th, the Council will meet to develop final recommendations for the upcoming season, and those plans will be put up for final approval in June.
You can see the county recommendations, and find the most current information on meeting structure, dates and times on the DNR’s CDAC webpage here.
