At least one dose of vaccine against the SARS-CoV-2 virus have been administered to 38,124 Sheboygan County residents as of Tuesday, amounting to 33.1% of the county’s population. 21,013, or 18.2%, have completed their full course of shots. Weekly numbers were down slightly last week to 7,314 shots, compared with the high of 8,287 the week of March 21st. Nearly 60% of those 65 and older have been fully vaccinated, while the next largest age demographic, those 55-64, are only 14.2% complete. A larger percentage of the county’s female population has been fully vaccinated, about 22% compared to 15% of the male population.
