SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) – Fire did nearly $60,000 in damage at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home Saturday afternoon.
The Sheboygan Fire Department says in a press release they were dispatched around 4pm after a 911 call reporting an active fire. When crews got to the room where the fire happened, they found the sprinkler system had kept it contained to that room.
The staff got residents from the floor, and firefighters stayed to help with salvage and cleanup. Nobody was hurt, no residents were displaced and there’s no word on a cause.
