MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The roof will be closed and the sausage races will be taped for Opening Day in Milwaukee. The Brewers on Tuesday announced their plans for Thursday’s first game of the season.
The team says all 12 thousand tickets sold-out for Opening Day. In addition to changes for eating and drinking, there will be a ban on tailgating at American Family Field.
The Racing Sausages will be in the ballpark, but they will not run their usual race during the game.
The Brewers will keep the roof closed for Opening Day, though it will be open for other games.
First pitch will be 1:10 p.m. with pregame on WHBL beginning at 12:35.
