Ruth A. Smies, age 65, was born on January 7, 1956, and passed away peacefully in her home on March
27, 2021.
She enjoyed baking, camping, boating, road trips, Chevrolet muscle cars and spending time with her
family.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband, Roger; son Jeremy Smies; two grandchildren; 4 great-
grandchildren; a sister and two brothers.
She has been reunited with her parents, sister and daughter.
A Funeral Service for Ruth will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 3PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and
Cremation Care Center, 1201 N 8th St. in Sheboygan. Family will greet visitors on Friday, at the funeral
home, from 1PM until the time of the service. Ruth's service will be livestreamed from her obituary
page on www.ballhornchapels.com at 3PM.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Ruth's name.
