If you live in the City of Sheboygan and haven’t yet renewed your dog, cat…or potbellied pig license, you have a week to act before things get a little more expensive. The Sheboygan Police Department is reminding residents that, beginning April 1st, a $5 late fee will be added to the cost of each license being renewed for 2021. Police remind residents that obtaining a license is not only a city ordinance, but the tag your receive enables a quick return should that pet ever roam.
Licenses may be obtained at the Police Department on North 23rd Street, and a current certificate of rabies vaccination from a licensed veterinarian is required. Applications, available from the Sheboygan Police Department’s website, can also be filled out ahead of time.
