MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Khris Middleton scored 27 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to help the Milwaukee Bucks clip the Boston Celtics 121-119 in Milwaukee on Wednesday night after the Celtics came roaring back from a 25-point deficit.
Daniel Theis missed an open three-point attempt that would have won the game for the Celtics.
Bobby Portis added 21 off the bench for the Bucks, and Brook Lopez and Donte DiVincenzo scored 17 apiece. Giannis Antetokounmpo, who missed the previous game with a knee sprain, returned and scored 13 points.
The Bucks have won eight straight and are a game-and-a-half back in the East at 29-14.
Jaylen Brown led Boston with 24 points and 10 boards. Kemba Walked chipped in with 23 points for the Celtics, who have lost five-of-six.
The two teams will have a rematch Friday in Milwaukee with the Bucks seeking their ninth straight win.
