Galo Antonio Mozo Perez, 73, of Sheboygan, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center peacefully surrounded by his family.
Born October 16, 1947 in Puebla, Mexico, Galo was a son of the late Roman Mozo and Paz Perez. He attended schools in Mexico. On October 18, 1970, he was united in marriage to Matilde Ruiz Garcia.
Galo worked in television production for Televisa for 30 years. Most recently, he worked at the Duke of Devon and Blue Harbor Resort. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Newton, WI. He was an avid musician who loved to sing and play the guitar.
He is survived by his wife, Matilde; his children, Alina (Dennis) Dewitt, Two Rivers, Jose Antonio Mozo, Mexico City, Roberto (Maria del Carmen) Mozo, Mexico, and Gustavo (Tamara) Mozo, Mexico; his grandchildren, Vannia, Cody, Angelica, Karla, Santiago, Kamila, Mary Jo, Emmanuel and Gina; his brother, Jose (Judith) Mozo; his sister, Martha (Carlos) Nava Mozo; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Matias.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 8100 Brunner Road, Newton, WI. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of mass at 6:00 p.m.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
The family would like to thank Dr. Najmus Liang, the nurses and staff of the 3rd Floor ICU at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center and especially Sarah Fonseca for all of their loving care and support.
He was a kind, humble, religious, and hardworking man that always put a smile on everyone’s face. He was a loving person who touched many peoples hearts.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Galo’s arrangements.
